Quick update on “OCACP”!

A few days I got the first mix of “Blood Design”, the opener on “Of Chaos And Carnal Pleasures” and…

HOLY. SHIT.

This is bound to be absolutely amazing on all accounts. Mr. Dan Swanö’s really done some killer work, to put it mildly. He and I have always went back and forth with the bass sound when we do albums together, as you know that part is extremely important to me. Well, this time I had exactly ZERO pointers for him bass sound-wise.

He. Fucken. Nailed. Right. Away.

That’s actually a first. I guess he knows what I am after now after all these years when it comes to the bass. In his own words (and I can’t possibly translate this from Swedish unfortunately, coz it makes no sense):

“- Basen ligger som en sur gubbe genom hela mixen och bara hatar allt liv, hela tiden.”

That is EXACTLY how it sounds and I couldn’t be fucken happier. The overall production is going to fucken crush as well, I guarantee it. Its sounds absolutely massive on all accounts, ladies and gents. Dan really knows his stuff, to put it mildly. In approximately 3 months you’ll experience it and nothing will ever be the same again.
