Albums to be sold at the releaseparty

Yeah, as said before, the release party for the new masterpiece is coming up. StormVox just informed us that we will get albums this week to sell this evening. So, if you for any fucked reason want the new thing, and want it signed, buying it this evening would be a very smart move since it looks like this will be the first time all of us will meet up, at the same time, in the same room. I know, we think it's weird as well. But pretty damn satanic.

We'll definitely try to sell these copies that we will get for a cheaper price than what you would normally pay. Just becoz we like to take care of the Haters (and steal your money in the process, hoho).

Either way, head over to www.clubaska.net for more details on this evening. We are very much looking forward to have our friends (and 2 of the TPH members) of Engel tear shit up this very special night.

Do not miss this. As Trey Isucktooth would say: "Neat-o".

/ The Hate, September 4th, 2007

Releaseparty

Yeah, "In Hora Mortis Nostræ" is about to be released in a mere 2 weeks and we'll do a releaseparty at Club Aska, Satin, Örebro, the 21st of September. We have invited Engel (the band where our drummer Mojjo and bassist Michael resides normally) to play for us, which feels great since that makes it somewhat TPH related, but still not, hahaha...

If everything goes as planned, this will be the first time all of TPH will be in the same room at the same time. If not, most of us will be there anyways.

We'll try to stir up some cool shit for this evening, but you can at least be sure that you will hear the album thru the PA that evening.

More info will follow.

Another teaser off the new album

Haters!

Since it's Sunday and it's only 3 more weeks until the release of "In Hora Mortis Nostræ", we have decided to hand you another small clip for you to burn down churches to. This edited tune is called "And damnation is forced upon the weak" and lasts for about 3 minutes instead of its original 10. Needless to say, this will give you nothing but a very small hint of what's to expect with the coming album.

Hope you enjoy it, and remember, September 15th, 2007, is the date of Armageddon. That's when StormVox will unleash "In Hora Mortis Nostræ" upon the world.

/ The Hate, August 24th, 2007

Late July update

Haters!

It's not too long until "In Hora Mortis Nostræ" is released now. One month... We so look forward to this beast being unleashed, to hear your reactions and opinions makes it all worth while. But that's not the reason for this post... This is:

We are planning a releaseparty. And for the first time ever all of us in TPH will meet up and be at the same place at the same time! It's weird that it hasn't happened yet, all due to us living in different cities and all - but now is the time. The 6 of us celebrating the new masterpiece together with all of you. We dig that.

We are waiting for a definite date when we can get some albums to sell at this party, and then we'll announce the date for this. What we do know is that we'll host this party at Club Aska in Örebro, Sweden. And Satin is the place to go. As mentioned, all we are waiting for is to know when the albums will come around so we can sell them for a good price this night. If everything works out, this will happen in September. And yes, we are working on getting our label boss Peter Stormare there, though he might be busy being a movie star and shit.

And no, we are not going to perform this evening (though we actually planned to). But we are definitely asking some awesome band to join us this night to get your live-nerve satisifed.

We have some other plans for this event, which might turn out really cool, but it's too early to go into that right now. Hang in there and check this site (and the forums) out for all the latest Hate-details.

More info to follow.

Early July update

Haters!

We have a little bit of news for you about the coming Christ Hating Hymn, "In Hora Mortis Nostræ", distribution-wise. Peter Stormare's Swedish agent has made sure that the album will be distributed by Sweden's Sound Pollution, meaning they will get the disc out to as many countries as possible in Europe for starters. As soon as we know exactly what countries this involves, we'll tell you all. There's a chance that they will be able to get the thing out in South America and parts of Asia (Japan, etc) as well.

Those are good news for sure and already at this stage StormVox's done more work for us than all of our former labels combined.

StormVox themselves will also sell the album directly thru their website at www.stormvox.com so ordering from them might be the easiest move when the time comes. In Sweden, www.ginza.se will definitely have the album for sale in case you can't find it in a store near you.

Releasedate? No exact date set just yet but StormVox are planning to have the masterpiece out in late August. Cross your fingers that everything works out as it should.

Besides that we wanna thank all the people who have pre-ordered the brand new "Hora" shirt to be made late July, early August, as informed on our forums. In case you missed out on this - go to our forums and check out the thread where all the ordering info can be found. There's still time to get yer hands on this very limited edition shirt. The last orders are taken July 24th. We initially planned to make the shirts right at this moment, but thanx to the printing company taking a summer holiday in July, we postponed the date (since we had little choice) for the last orders to July 24th, 24:00 CET. To all of you who ordered so far, keep an eye on the forums for a future post where your name, size and quantity will be mentioned, just so we know that we got everything right with the orders.

And last off, the new album isn't too far away now. Hang in there, interact with us on the forums and keep up the Christ hating.

Update on the "Hora" t-shirts!

If you have followed the conversations on the forums, you know we are taking orders for the shirts now. Enter the appropriate topic and check out the details if you want one of these very exclusive shirts.

We stated that the last order would be taken at June 30th, 2007, 24:00 CET. That has changed. Why? Becoz the printing company is taking a summer break for a few weeks which means the shirts will be printed in the end of July. This means we'll take orders up until July 24th, 2007, 24:00. Take note of that date.

So, if you want in on this, you still got time.

Hail Satan!

Latest news concerning the forthcoming album

Are you Haters ready?

We have completed the 5th album. It's been quite a while since we started recording this one, actually - we began putting down the guitars in October, 2006. That's a bunch of months back to say the least. But we planned all of this exactly like it has happened. And we are damn happy to have the proof in our hands that we made everything right, again. Schedules for recording are pretty useless when you think about it. We knew from the start that we would spend the longest time in our career completing this one, and so we did. It's been worth it, it's so been worth it.

Bringing in drummer Mojjo really brought some new shit to us, then again - it didn't. "Didn't" becoz this guy is so talented he played the shit pretty much to 95% exactly as K had programmed the demos. But on the other hand, a drummer of flesh and blood can never be replaced by programmings, so naturally he has brought something new into us after all. Tremendous work, little one.

Bassist Michael's never worked so hard on anything he's been involved in before. And it shows. Sometimes laidback material, most of the times outrageous playing. No wonder Mojjo and Michael play in their other band Engel, they sure match each other as far as talent goes. They have both done amazing, amazing work for this new monster, and it feels fantastic to have them with us as full members of The Hate. Well, Michael's been with us for a couple of years now, but you know what we mean. They are still the new guys.

Once again, Jörgen shows the world that there is absolutely no one that beats him in the growling department. The furious power and insanity that his voice displays is unmatched. And having in mind he did all the vocals in just 9 hours is beyond us... Then remember, they are also dubbed, and sometimes tripled. As always, he hates what we do, but in the end we know he's damn proud to hear the end result. At least that's what we always imagine, haha...

Our girl Jo... Once again staying away from the standard bullshit operatic crap that has little-to-no place in metal. She's just marvellous. The desperation and the warmth in her voice... Such an icing on a fucken tasty cake.

Guitarist Petter's done some damn fine leads and the occasional rhythm axes all over the place, and he and K really spent time together sorting details for this one. And it shows. We have never used so many guitars in the past as on this piece. You will find something new in this recording every time you devour it, that's a promise.

Dan Swanö. We can't really express our gratitude as much as he deserves. Sure, we pay him and all that shit, but the work he's doing for us... The endless assistance during the recordings when something fucks up... Dan is king. Or queen, depending on yer mood. It's not easy working with us, it's not easy to make everything audible with our records... We are a bit more than your average guitar/bass/drums/vocals band. It feels like we are not paying him enough some times. Once again he's done an outstanding job and we are most thankful. Can't wait to record our next album, but that feels a little too early to talk about right now.

Marko Saarelainen. Our webmaster, our brother, our sister... The guy who's been doing everything artwork-wise for our albums the last 500 years... Once again he waits for the title and lyrics before creating anything. And when he does, all shit breaks loose. He, just like us, look to go beyond what he's done before with TPH. And always succeeds. The coming cover and booklet is fantastic and his finest piece yet. That he is not getting more recognition is completely beyond us, and absolutely absurd. This has to fucken change. Marko deserves it.

And last off, Peter Stormare. The lunatic/actor (exactly in that order) who, for some reason, thinks that signing us is a smart move. The passion shown by him towards what we do is... weird. He doesn't NEED to sign us, he WANTED to sign us (sure, we threatened him if he didn't, but hey...). We don't think we'll ever understand why, but we feel fucken awesome about the fact that it happened. Hollywood, here we come! Right.

So, when the usual bragging and modesty is dealt with, this is what you can expect from the album as far as the basics go:

Title: In Hora Mortis Nostræ
Number of tracks: 7
Length: Over 60 minutes
Recorded in: All over Sweden
Release date and label: September 2007, StormVox Records

Titles:
1. Annihilation of all that is holy
2. Crawling through the infinite fields of carnage
3. Serenades of rotten flesh
4. For our name is chaos eternal
5. Tear down the walls of heaven
6. And damnation is forced upon the weak
7. The innocence of the three-faced saviour

Guest musicians: A whole bunch of people, you'll just have to wait for the album and its booklet to see who they are.

So, what do we have in store for you now?

As the first and last teaser of "In Hora Mortis Nostræ" we will hand out a websingle of the track "The Innocence of the Three-Faced Saviour". It comes with a complete downloadable cover. This version is an edited one though. A radio-edit, if you will. It's cut down to some three and half minutes, it's remixed and it doesn't sound like this on the actual album. Just becoz we want to (and can) do something special with it.

This websingle is available for download here at www.theprojecthate.net and the lyrics are found at the Discography-page.

Progress on the new album, late April update

K asked me to write a little something about my experiences from this record, so here we go.

Working with K is always a trip. He is one of the few friends I have left since "the old days" and he hasn't changed a bit. He will always give you what he thinks, straight to your face. Praising or wrath!! (I have only experienced the praising this time, which is nice!!)

This makes the mixing a very easy process in one way, no messing about with psychology to get an honest opinion, but his obsession to details is enough to drive any studio-engineer to tears, lucky for me that I am a perfectionist to the core myself and can relate to his uncontrolled joy of "that perfect fade" or when I magically inserted an "S" sound to Jörgens vocal!!

We both share the vision that we first and foremost do this for ourselves. The only thing that matters is that WE can listen to the album, back to back without annoying us to death with little details. Once achieved, it´s sonic nirvana, sex for the ears, for all mankind!!

And this time we got there, faster and more painless than ever!!

I have been there in the background from the very foundation of the unique union that is TPH and have always been fascinated with the blend of the hardest and heaviest of metal clashing against the sound-scapes from the world of electronics. (Nothing you ever dreamed of hearing when the metal-fans puked over the heavy used of synthesizers on "Turbo" by Judas Priest, that I secretly loved together with "Somewhere in Time"...and, god forbid, Depeche Mode!!)

Anyway.. What always surprises me is their ability to write even better songs... all the fuckin' time. I thought the last album was gonna be impossible even to match. But, of course, they had to make it so much better than the last one it hurts!!

A big part in what makes this album so incredible is the perfect aligning of many important elements. First of all, finally, at last.. REAL DRUMS!!

Say it with me: R E A L D R U M S ! ! !

And, my... I was gonna say God, but that doesn´t really go with the K-man, so I say..Dra åt hela jävla helvete what an amazing drummer he found!! Even though K's drum-programming skills are out of this world, Me and K used to dream of contacting (and blow the budget) on a drummer-for-hire like Gene Hoglan Back to the praising of Mojjo. When K told me he had found a real drummer to record the album, alarm bells the size of Malmköping went off in my head, but I shouldn't have worried. If there is one man more picky with drumming than me, it's Mr. K!! He can tell you more about how magnificently Mojjo pulled off the whole recording. He's worth a grammy for his performance, goddamn!! Hat Off!!

This time Michael once again proved that he is a true talent. It's so good to hear him really "find his space" in the world of TPH. He runs over those strings (Not sure how many, 5 I guess!!) like a rabid squirrel from beyond!! His timing and his ability to NOT play what K plays all the time and still not clash is uncanny!! And the bass-sound we got is awesome too!! ' Even loud and "cloinky" enough for the K-master...

Both Jörgen and Jonna were much better recorded this time. Robban and Ture did a tremendous job in capturing the beauty and the demon in both their voices! It was a pleasure to mix. A little spanking from an UAD 1176 and some proximity-reduction with a Pultec (Hey, a little bit of geek-talk is cool!!) was all it took to place these voices right in your face!!! And K... I promise, there is NO reverb on Jörgen!!! Ever!!

Since it is no surprise that K is one of the best rhythmguitar-players in the world and Mazza is a mean bastard on all the six-strings, I really don't have to mention this, but I just have to say that some of the riffing present on this record is top ten death metal riffing!! K is sick!!

There is a passage in "The Innocence of three faced-savior" that just blew my fucking ears off, no joking!! I had just imported all the files from Reason and had really no idea of what was on those tracks since you export and import them in silence.

Another spooky incident was when I had finished listening to one of the early mixes on my 25€ computer-speakers, I turn around and see my Decibel-meter reading 66.6 dB. I nearly crapped my pants.... again!!! Every now and then I would find the perfect balance of a guitar at -6.66 dB... of course.... and when a disturbing frequency turned out to be 666 Hz I nearly told K that I was off the project, and volunteer to mix the new Stryper or something!! I told K today, that if the whole album would have been 666 MB instead of 660, I would have stopped my involvement with this record right there!! (Since I had a flight to catch later that same day... I am actually writing this 38.000 feet in the air, closer to God than to the ground... I hope he's not pissed!! If you read this, I survived!!)

I also hope that you hear that the mix is a notch up from my previous work. I have finally given in to the physics of sound-engineering and done everything according to the book and it's weird, I have never used Less stuff to mix an album, but it sounds so much More that it brought me to an extreme outburst of joy after hearing the finished master in my so-fucking-hard-to-please car-stereosystem. I am one happy man writing this!!

It was a pleasure to mix this album and it's and even bigger pleasure listening to it. I am sure you'll all agree with me once this bomb of blasphemy is released upon mankind!!!

/ Dan Swanö, somewhere, way above Germany 27/4 2007

That's some incredibly nice words from Mr. D. We can never thank Dan enough for the incredible work he always does with us. Thanx for the kind words, the longtime friendship and the vision you share with us. We'll work together soon again. Stay tuned at this site for some surprises later on... We just need to have everything completed before we do.

Stormvox has sent us all the codes and whatnot for the album and we are now in the final stages of sending them the master. It will prolly take a few more weeks though before all the details are down.

As soon as we have a releasedate, we'll announce it here... together with some other cool crap.

Thanx for the support guys, we truly appreciate it.

/ The Hate, April 30th, 2007

Progress on the new album, middle April update

So, Dan was over last evening and got the last stuff needed for him to start finishing up this bastard. I also asked him to bring over a sample of what the sound will be like and... Damn.

This will sound heavy as elephant-shit.

He did a real quick temp mix for me and we sat down listening twice to one track that he got a few weeks back to start with. Dan's fucken incredible to say the least. To hear everything with the planned sound feels absolutely awesome, and knowing this temp mix was done quite fast...

I absolutely love the bass sound for one. It's clear as fuck, it's distinct and crushing. Ampeg is Satan among bass amps. The guitars are ace as are the drums. Mojjo's done some absolutely fantastic work. At times I forget he's actually playing on this shit since he's nailed the stuff so damn close to how I initially programmed it. And those goddamned vocals... And those... Well, you understand by now that we kinda dig this, haha...

I'm almost losfer words.

Dan's now got everything and will start working hard on this. As this rough mix was done in a hurry just for me to hear something, he will do a real mix today or tomorrow and then let me hear it so I can tell him yes or no, what needs to be higher, lower, etc...

His plan is to try to get a song done each day and then I'll just work the details with Mr. D.

This just turned out even better than I imagined it would considering I have been sitting with the rough stuff for some months now and gotten used to that sound.

If Dan has the time he'll write something up for you, but first on his agenda is to completely dive into this a 100%, so studio updates from D is very secondary.

Now you know, it has started and in a few weeks it should be finished.

Embrace Armageddon.

/ The Hate, April 17th, 2007

Progress on the new album

Well, well, well... There we go. Michael's done with the last song and all 7 of these bastards are now completed. K is getting home again tomorrow and will now spend the coming weekend sorting the last details before mixing will start, together with Dan Swanö. The plan is that Dan picks up the latest additions to the songs on Monday and then we are off diving into this bitch head first for a while. We can't really say when we plan to have the final mix and mastering done, but it should take at least a few weeks to get everything right. As always, we are in no hurry. Having worked on this album on and off for some 5 months... we sure wanna spend the last phase without any stress. Like we would know how to stress anyways.

Hopefully this album will be completed before the end of April, but we are not sure. That's sort of a plan anyways. We have also talked to StormVox (yeah, that would be the label) about a possible releasedate, and we are aiming for August-something. More on that as soon as we know more ourselves.

Besides that, we once again thank you for the support and interest in what we are doing. This album is for you. Actually, it's for us, but we gladly dedicate some bits of it to you Haters.

/ The Hate, April 11th, 2007

Progress on the new album, early April update

Michael's soon nailed 4 songs and his plan was to have 5 done by yesterday evening. That leaves him with 2, and then all the bass is done. He's got some fucken insane ideas that he's obviously going to try out this coming week. Haha, I can't wait to see what the fuck happens with this if it works out.

On another note:

I have worked with the vocals during the last weeks and it all feels fucken excellent now, and I believe my work is pretty much done. I also did some new shit to some of the tunes that feels really, really good. Will probably go thru all the keyboards and programmings to see if there's anything I can enhance them with while waiting for Michael to send over the rest of the bass. This is a wonderful process to say the least. It's all perfection and I get a huge smile while listening to what we have created this far. The time spent on this recording is insane, but it's worth every second of it. I could never imagine it would turn out this fantastic actually... Yeah, ok, I could. I so thank the guys in the band for helping me to make everything I ever dreamed of musically to come alive. You guys (and gal) fucken dominate.

As mentioned earlier, Swanö is about to start re-amping all the guitars this week, that will be interesting, to see what kind of guitar sound we end up with. Dan knows his shit and spent countless of hours last week to find a sound suitable for the purpose. It looks promising.

And some useless information: Yesterday I went thru all the lyrics in the booklet to look for any typos and so on, found a few and those are corrected now. Reading thru the lyrics really made me feel good. I guess Christ's not exactly on the same level though... J and Jo are delivering those with such precision and awesomeness it brings a tear to my eye.

There you go, the latest update.

More to come.

/ Lord K Philipson on behalf of TPH, April 2nd, 2007

Progress on the new album, late March update

Haters!

All of you who follow the information in our forums already knows about this, but some of you might have missed it/didn't care/was drunk/fucked off to a better place, so here's a fresh rundown on the latest Hate activities.

Michael is putting down the bass as we type this. One song is already completed and he's about to start working on the second today. Needless to say (but we do it anyways, as always), Michael's come up with some ridiculously nice elements to the tunes. It's at times like these that one understand why the hell we brought him on board in the first place. That guys lives and breathes bass, while most people just play it for the sake of playing it.

Swanö and K's hooked up (not like that, they both have fiancees. Really.) for a small session tomorrow where they will discuss what possible amps to use for the re-amping of the guitars which will start real soon while Michael is doing his bass. The computer era really makes things a hella lot easier than it used to be when it comes to recording albums, haha... During the last week, K's been working with the vocals and it's all coming into place now... The album is really taking form and we can't wait until Dan and K starts mixing the bitch.

Everything feels so great with this coming album and having Peter Stormare's label StormVox believing in what we do is yet another great feeling.

To sum up the content of how this album sounds and feels so far: Diabolic. How cheesy it may sound, that's the most appropriate word for what we are doing this time. As well. Or something.

If you liked us before, you'll embrace this like a fag in a cockstore. Hey, and that even rhymed. Kind of.

So, we are working hard with this now and are soon to enter the final stages... We are dying for you guys to hear this piece of christ-loving bonanza as soon as fucken possible. And as soon as we have something completed, you might just get a taste of it.

Until next time, thanx for the kind e-mails and well-wishes with the recording. We appreciate the support so much.

Vocals recorded for the new album

And there we go... J nailed all of his vocals in 9 hours this past weekend. Have in mind that he always dub his vocals... That guy is fucken insane. K and Mazza worked real hard with J and we are proud to say that he's, once again, delivered the best damned vocals in the history of death metal grunts. Just as we knew he would. J is king.

Besides that, a lot of other people contributed with backing vocals and some small lead parts. We have the whole insane crew of J's other band, Vicious Art, doing some insane shit. The Giant, also known as Rickard Alriksson (The Accidents, ex-Necrony) decided to accept our invitation last Sunday, and he ended up doing stuff all over the place. We last worked with him on "HDCE" and it was pure pleasure to see this monster in the studio. We are not sure he actually did vocals, it's more like he impersonated a subwoofer. We dig that shit.

Michael is currently doing bass while K is editing the vocals, and so far it sounds just as planned, only better. If everything goes as planned, Michael should have his bass delivered in a week or 6, then we are finally off to mix this thing with Dan Swanö. Poor Mr. D, he has no idea what he's sunk his teeth into, haha... As soon as we have the time we'll throw up some photos (and perhaps a video or 2) over at our forums.

Now, leave us alone, we have an album to complete. Later, haters!

/ The Hate, March 20th, 2007

Progress on the new album, March update

So, Haters...

We are happy to say that Jo nailed all of her vocals last weekend. 2 days of hard work and everything fell into place. She's done very good and pulled out some real awesome Billboard hit shit. Maybe. There are some photos from the recording of those vocals available at our forums. Head over there if you wanna drool a little over the only goodlooking element in this band.

Not only did Jo do very fine work, studio owner/vocal coach Robban Eriksson did some cool backing vocal-things, and some of what we did this last weekend is something we never thought we'd have on a TPH album. You'll see...

Now J is next. If everything goes as planned he will do his vocals this coming weekend. It'll be nice to see him in action again, working his ass off, delivering the best growls in the world of death metal.

Michael should start recording his bass any day now and we all know what he brought to "Armageddon March Eternal", so needless to say (but we do it anyways) we are looking forward to his monstrous bass shit.

After J's vocals and Michael's bass are completed it's time to finally start mixing this bitch. But more of that later, of course.

/ The Hate, March 13h, 2007

Welcome drummer Mojjo to the family of Hate!

So, after 4 studio albums of using programmings it was time to bring in some new flesh extra ordinaire to the Hate. Drummer Mojjo (also playing with bassist Michael in Engel) was asked to do drums for the coming album and, well... the drums are completed. We have never seen anyone work so hard in a studio before. Over the last 2 days Mojjo's been putting down his work, and it sounds nothing short of fantastic. It has really brought another dimension into this album, and this band.

K says:

"Mojjo has put down some of the finest drums I have ever heard, and some of the stuff that he nailed and came up with is something I never thought we'd hear in TPH. This guy is not only a fantastic drummer, he's a very laid back guy who lets his drumming do the talking. I'm very proud to have him onboard and I can only imagine how much this will enhance our sound in the future, as it has done on this album. The guy played for 17 hours straight yesterday, blisters and blood all over the place and not one single time he complained. We are impressed. Actually, we are more than impressed. He deserves to be in this band instead of being listed as a session drummer."

We welcome him to the Hate. And we applaud him and thank him for the fantastic effort put into this piece.

Next up is Michael doing the bass. And then the vocals of Jo and J. Jo's up first in 2 weeks and J will do his stuff the weekend after that. We are getting closer to completing the best goddamned material we ever composed. Can't wait for you guys to hear this.

Stay tuned for more updates and possible video clips from the recording of the drums, among other things.

The Project Hate MCMXCIX t-shirts, update

As you can see in the post below, new TPH shirts are available. If you want one (we print them by demand so we guess you could call them exclusive or some shit) follow the instructions in the thread. We just want you to know that the last day we take any orders is February 26th, so if you write us and confirm that money is sent/transferred before or at that date, we'll make sure you get your shirt. After that date it will take about a week to get the shirts made and another week or 2 before they arrive at your place.

Support the dechristianization!

Early February update

Haters!

Since a week back or so we are finished with all guitars for the coming album. Guitarist Mazza came over to K's studio and put down his remaining solos as well as some neat additional guitars that made everything even better. We guess that's kind of the point. We are also happy to say that the contract with Peter Stormare is signed and delivered. We so look forward to see what this madman can do for us. We have no idea when the album will be released, but we plan to have everything complete and delivered to Peter by late March/early April. And no, the title for the coming album is not "666" as Stormare's website for StormVox says. But it kinda gives a hint as for what this piece will deliver. Or something.

Next thing for us is to have Michael put down his bass. That should be done by the end of February if everything goes as planned. If he avoids half of the hassle he had last time this could work out. We can definitely do without broken computer monitors and whatnot. We all know what Michael can deliver and we are so looking forward to hear what he comes up with on this album.

It looks like the only female element in the band (if you don't count Jörgen as one) will do her vocals the 24th and 25th of February, in Rat Productions, Örebro, Sweden. Yes, the same studio and producer used for her vocals on our last album. After that we will try to enter another studio in Örebro to record J's vocals over a couple of days. This will hopefully happen in the beginning of March. And after that it's time to ship the whole thing to Dan Swanö so he and K can start mixing and mastering it in Unisound.

A few weeks back we also took the last shots to use for the booklet. Huge thanx to Mats Wiman for the great work with those. We can promise a very nice looking package, once again created by Marko Saarelainen. Thanx guys, you fucken kill.

That's where we are at right now... There is actually one more thing we wanna tell you, but we have to wait a little longer to see if it works out... Stay tuned and expect another fine release of christloving ballads in a while.

Record deal confirmed

Haters!

Over the last few months while we have been recording the coming 5th album, we have had some damn giving discussions with some people about signing a new deal. We are now very happy to announce that Swedish (but a US resident) bound-to-be legendary actor/lunatic Peter Stormare has decided to work out a deal with us for his own record label StormVox. We would like to take the opportunity to thank the other labels we have talked to a little after the split from Threeman Recordings. We appreciate the interest.

So, Mr. Sturm is now our label boss and we really look forward to working together with him. Having one of the most insane actors in the movie business taking interest in what we do... Things could be worse. We have some more things lined up which we will announce asap if shit goes as we want them to, but more of that as soon as we have something more concrete to say.

We have told you some of the following before, but we'll make a short rundown of everything to keep you guys on track:

We are planning to have the album completed sometime in late March/April and this means it should see the light of day a few months after that. We'll get back to you with a definite releasedate as soon as we have one, of course.

Michael Håkansson will start doing his bass around Feb and we have made loose plans as for when to enter the studio to record vocals. It looks like we'll utilize the services of Robban Eriksson in Örebro, Sweden for all the vocals this time around. The very guy who we recorded Ms Jo's vocals on "Armageddon march eternal".

All the guitars are completed since a while back, we might add a solo or two while waiting for the vocals to be recorded, but that remains to be seen, if guitarist Mazza can get his ass away from the X-box 360 that is.

Dan Swanö is ready to sink his teeth into this piece as soon as we have all the shit down, and we are definitely looking forward to complete this album with Mr. D. It will be pure joy as always as D knows us so well by now.

In the meantime, hang in here, check the forums for all the latest updates on the recording and get ready for album 5 when the time comes.

Deadmarch-album finally to see the light of day

If you have been hanging around our forums, as we always suggest, you have already found out about this... Anyways: The seed for TPH, the Deadmarch album that was recorded back in 1998 in Sunlight Studios with Tomas Skogsberg, will actually be released in 2007.

I'm awaiting the contract but I have gotten the offer and will sign it as soon as the papers arrive. We will re-master the whole thing with Dan Swanö at Unisound and then release it as it was recorded. This feels very nice since that album is very special to me in alot of ways. It was the thing that eventually made me form TPH.

It's not like we'll make any money off this, and basically I don't fucken care for shit. All I want is that the label gets their money back for mastering and releasing it. I just think it's a nice thing that it gets out, whenever that happens. And the label isn't the same label that TPH's secured a deal with, just to cut off further speculation. Vic Records bought the album and will release it in 2007. A definite releasedate will follow as soon as we have one.

Deadmarch: "The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Initiation of blasphemy" will come with a new cover and booklet made by Statik Majik, the hero who is responsible for everything TPH, graphics wise, as of the latest years. And it looks damn good

I don't think any year in the past has started off this good before. Great things for TPH happening, Deadmarch being released and Insects getting a new deal as well... Insane.

Thanx for the neverending support, Haters.

/ Lord K Philipson on behalf of TPH, January 23rd, 2007

Progress on the new album, January 2007 update

We just completed all the lyrics for the album and Jo's working hard on her stuff to complete those. K will now start recording all the lines for J and send them over to him for him to listen to so he can be prepared when we enter the studio for the vocals.

J wanted to do his vocals after Jo's this time around since he's always been doing his stuff first in the past and that's how we are going to execute it for this album. Jo first, J last. Backingvocals/guests after that.

We are planning to enter Rat Productions in March (where Jo did her vocals the last time) and start taping everything. She will come over to K's place a day before and we'll go thru everything to see that it all works out vocal wise and so forth.

Feels absolutely killer to finally be able to say that the lyrics are done. We have taken our time and expect nothing but some christ hating signature shit from TPH. Yeah, we are anti-christian like that. We are very happy about how everything's turned out so far. To say the least. Jo's got some insanely cool ideas for the stuff and we are dying to get those down for real.

Also, we have secured a new record deal and will announce everything as soon as possible. Needless to say, we are happy as arsonists inside a church.

/ The Hate, January 22nd, 2007

Late December update

It's been a month since the last update here at the site, that doesn't mean we aren't doing shit, we are actually doing alot. The Hate activities have just been covered up close at our forums instead of here. We suggest you browse them for all relevant information you might wanna know when it comes to the new album. Anyways, here's a short rundown:

1. All the rhythm guitars are nailed for the coming 5th album, and have been so for a little while. What we are doing now is just adding plenty of details, solos and all that fun shit needed to make this piece perfect.

2. Talks with record labels are ongoing but nothing is settled yet as far as signing anything goes. We are taking our time and are still open to suggestions as we are going to take our time with this recording.

3. We plan to have this whole disc recorded and completed sometime in March/April. There is a reason for this time spended and hopefully we can announce why soon. If everything goes as we want them to, it's something to look forward to. Keep yer fingers crossed.

4. The album title, song titles and front cover are completed since quite some time back. We'll hand it all out as soon as we feel like it. Which might be a while.

5. It's 7 songs clocking in over an hour of the best music we ever wrote.

666. We have no 666th point but we kinda like this number.

Stay tuned here for all the info as we go along but remember that the forums is where we announce all the latest things. You don't need to register to be able to read the crap but if you wanna post something, registration is needed.

Happy Hateful New Year and all that crap.

/ The Hate, December 29th, 2006

Late November update

Things are moving in the Hate-camp. Guitarist Mazza was over at K's place yesterday and added some of his magic shit into a few songs. Out of the 7 tracks for the album (pretty much an hour of music), 6 tunes are pretty much completed with the 4 rhythm axes and some additional harmony stuff. We got some basic work left to do and then it's time to really enter perfection mode for a while and really analyze everything as far as the guitars go. There will definitely be alot of guitars on this album, that much we can tell you at this point.

And yes, as we are recording this, we have told you that we are writing the lyrics as well. All the titles are ready, as well as the actual album title. And damn, even the cover is already done by our 6th member/webmaster Statik Majik. He's only got some fine tuning to do, which he will work with as long as we record this coming christ hating assault. And that might take a while, haha...

We have updated you guys on the label situation before. It's still the same and we haven't even bothered to work more with that at the moment, we just concentrate on recording right now. And that feels awesome, having no pressure whatsoever, no deadlines. Just all the time in the world to make the finest album we can come up with.

2007 might see a few interesting changes for The Hate... We can't say too much at the moment but as soon as everythings cleared, this is the place where you will find out everything about... well... everything Hateful.

We are just nice like that, you know.

Don't forget to check out the forum where we post audio clips and whatnot from the recordings. See you all in a bit, and thanx to everyone who writes us stating you are really looking forward to this album. You guys make all the sore fingers and hungovers all worth. And believe us when we say it will be worth the goddamn wait. We wouldn't have it any other way.

/ The Hate, November 28th, 2006

November update

We are moving onwards slowly with the recording of the new album. Since we have absolutely no deadlines, or even a record label for that matter, we are going to take our time with this piece. A lot of things are happening in the Hate camp but it's too early to say much about it. As soon as shit is confirmed we'll inform you here, as always. But if everything works out as we want them to, this will be quite some interesting recording. 2 and a half tracks are completely nailed as far as guitars go and while recording those we are also writing the lyrics for the tunes. Expect nothing but some blasphemous insanity. You know us by now.

Don't forget to check out the forums where we post everything you need to know about the recording process.

/ The Hate, November 16th, 2006

Progress on the new album

Dan Swanö just visited K and installed everything needed for K's homestudio when it comes to recording the guitars for the coming album. This means we are... actually starting to record the guitars for the coming album... Still working on the remaining lyrics but as mentioned, we have all the time in the world for this and doing the guitars in the meantime just feels killer.

Still no label and basically, we don't care too much either. What happens happens. As mentioned before, hopefully some cool shit will happen in November. Keep yer fingers crossed.

We are updating the recording process on a regular basis at our forums. Head over there if you feel like it.

Stay tuned for more updates.

/ The Hate, October 25th, 2006

Late October update

So, we are still working on the lyrics for the coming 5th studio album of Hate. One and a half tune is nailed lyric-wise so there's still a bunch more to do. We are getting there though.

As we reported, some labels showed interest in us. At the moment nothing is happening as they seem to have backed out, fucked off or simply don't care anymore. One label got all pissy and screaming becoz of a review K made of one of their bands. Tough. We were never good at kissing label's asses anyways, so we are better without their interest if that's how they wanna deal with shit. The other 2 never cared to live up to their words so I guess it's safe to say that we are still far away from being signed. If things go as planned, November might have some excellent shit coming our way though, but it's too early too talk about that at the moment.

So now we'll just work on the lyrics and the lay out for the album. We are going to take our time with this recording (actually, we might start tracking the guitars any day now at K's home studio) and make sure it's turning out the best thing we ever did, which it of course will be. What would be the point of recording a new album otherwise...

In the meantime there are some clips from the demoing process available at our forums, in case you wanna hear some metal.

/ The Hate, October 18th, 2006

Early October update

We can now tell all of you beloved supporters of the Hate that we have the album title and cover ready for the next album, the fifth in our career. All the lyrics are being worked on as well at the moment and all song titles are chosen. It's too early to hand out those titles just yet though, the time for that will come...

The material (7 songs, slightly over one hour of music) is being finetuned now, and will be so until the album is actually recorded and mastered, and we are very proud of what we have accomplished this far. It's more of everything. It's a definite continuation of "Armageddon march eternal" and there's no way you won't absolutely love what we are creating if you ever took a liking in our music before.

As we told you not too long ago, 3 labels have shown interest in us but nothing is anywhere close to being signed just yet. We will see what happens, if anything. We are in no rush.

We'll keep you informed about everything as often as we can so keep checking in.

/ The Hate, October 1st, 2006

Composing process for the new album almost done

All the music for the coming album is now pretty much completed. It's been a completely insane writing session and with the answers in hand it's been worth every second of it. What's left now is just some fine tuning, which is something we always do until the record is actually mastered, to improve different things even more. But 99% of the music is now finished. 7 tracks, an hour of the best music we ever did. That's a nice feeling, to say the least.

It's time to start writing lyrics now, which will take some time as well, of course. Expect nothing but a complete and utter monster of an album when the time comes. Damn, it feels good to say that.

On the label situation. 3 labels have shown interest in us so far and we'll see what happens eventually, if anything. The plans are to sign a deal and then start working with good friend Dan Swanö so this thing sees the light of day in 2007. Stay tuned for more updates and don't forget to check out the forums where you can dive into the complete writing session for this album, complete with short demo clips and videos of the process.

/ The Hate, September 27th, 2006

Late September update

We are currently talking with some labels about us eventually signing with them for the next album. We'll see what comes out of this. We'll keep you informed. In the meantime we can tell you that we have 6 and a half song finished now for our next masterpiece. Almost one hour of music. We plan to write some more since we have a lot of unused ideas and stuff lying around. The inspiration is flowing and it feels great knowing that we are creating our finest piece in our career at this early stage.

Don't forget about the forums where we post some clips and whatnot from the process of creating the album.

/ The Hate, September 18th, 2006

Composing Process, September update

Things are really moving in the Hate camp... As we have mentioned before we have 5 songs completed for the next album. Those tunes already clock in at a total of over 40 minutes. This past weekend, The Lord and Mazza sat down with beers and laughter and started working on 2 new songs instead of one. And this shit is becoming something else it seems. We were always confident we would top the latest masterpiece "Armageddon march eternal", but that we will do it in this manner was nothing we could ever dream of. The new material is so insanely strong it's ridicolous. It's more of everything. More brutality, more sadness, more domination. We can't wait to start recording this one, which won't happen quite yet though. We are planning to write 7 or 8 songs for the coming disc and we have shitloads of unused ideas lying around... It feels awesome.

As soon as all the material is written, K will start working on the lyrics and everything else needed to complete this coming masterpiece.

And in a while we might even start looking for a new label since we are finally off Threeman Recordings.

Don't forget to check out the forums where we post clips and videos from the process of creating the next chapter of Hate.

And on this day, our thoughts are with everyone affected by the 9/11 event.

/ The Hate, September 11th, 2006

Composing process for the new album

Things are going easier than we thought... We now have 4 songs down for the next album. Over 30 minutes of material already and it feels really great. As we have mentioned before, we have a thread in our forums where we inform you guys on the composing process . We also use that thread to put up some videos and audio clips from the writing sessions. Check that out to get a glimpse of what we are doing.

In time we will start looking for a label as well, but we are in no rush.

Prepare for the next chapter of Domination sometime next year... It will be worth the wait...

/ The Hate, August 26th, 2006

Early August update

As mentioned, we are currently in writing-mode de luxe. 2 tunes are completely finished since a few weeks back and the third has all the basic structures down, it just needs to be put together and have the real programmings and keyboards added to it. The material so far is a natural step forward from "Armageddon March Eternal". It's basically more of the same. As we would change, huh?

Mazza is soon going to Thailand for a month or so which means the writing is left to K in the meantime, which shouldn't be much of a problem. Mazza will return to form after that journey.

Alot of you knows that Michael left Evergrey recently. Fear not, he's still with TPH of course. It's not like we are allowing him to leave after the input he had on "Armageddon March Eternal".

We still haven't approached any labels yet since we have quite some time to spend on the writing still but the plans are to record the next album sometime next year. The sooner the better. We'll keep you all informed here or at our forums on the progress of the writing and anything else you guys need to know.

Stay tuned for more updates.

/ The Hate, August 10th, 2006

July update

Alot of stuff is happening right now in the Hate-camp. Some week ago we started composing for the 5th full-length and it's safe to say we are doing quite good here... Almost 2 songs are completed, both clocking in over 8 minutes each. We are currently fine-tuning these 2 and have alot of shit lined up for the remaining 6 or 7 that we plan to write. We are also about to start looking for a new label-home since we are through with Threeman. Interested parties can contact us over e-mail and we'll take it from there. It's good to see how well "Armageddon March Eternal" has been recieved and we can guarrantee you all that the next opus won't let you down. We really found what we always wanted to do on said last album and now we are just taking it from there, working even harder on the compositions. We know we have a helluva album to top, but we will do just that or there would be no reason to write for a new one, you know.

As we have mentioned before we are having regular updates on the song-writing over at our forums. If you wanna see what happens we suggest you go there (you don't have to register to be able to read the posts) and knock yerselves out. We post some videos and/or clips from the writing every now and then so that place is a good one for all things Hate-ish.

Check back for more updates as we go along.

/ The Hate, July 9th, 2006

Composing process for the new album has begun

We have now started to compose for real for album number 5. This will be quite a long process but we will take our time. If you want some in-depth info on how things are going we suggest you enter our forums as we are keeping the writing-process updated on a regular basis in there. You never know, we might even hand out some early "working on" snippets and whatnot to involve you guys a little in what we do. That's how much we appreciate your support, Haters.

The work has started...

/ The Hate, June 26th, 2006

Early May update

TPH are now looking for a new record-label. Interested parties can contact us at the following address:

We are currently writing material for the 5th studio-album to be recorded sometime late this year or early 2007.

/ The Hate, May 4th, 2006

Late April update

Almost a month since the last update and we are sorry about that (no, we're not). There's not too much to report at the moment so we'll just hand out what's happening, even if it's not that much. We are still recording ideas for the next album but are yet to enter full-writing mode. There's shitloads of new stuff lying around, waiting to be sorted for new songs when the time comes. So far the material definitely follows the stuff displayed on "Armageddon march eternal", and that's how we like it. Just thought we should give you haters a brief update on our activities.

As we have mentioned before we don't know when we will start recording the next TPH-album, but it's not likely to happen this year. Anyway, you know it'll be worth the wait. Stay tuned for more shit as we go along.

/ The Hate, April 25th, 2006

Late March update

Well, same shit applies to this update as the last, except for some small details. It seems like K will record a ambient tune together with former vocalissa Mia Ståhl if everything goes as planned. K and Mia's been talking about doing something together for quite some time and it seems like now is a good time. The track in question is quite weird and nothing remotely close to metal. No idea as for when this might happen and it seems it might take a while to figure out the vocal-lines for it since it's basically something they haven't done before, musicwise. The plan is to record it sometime soon, but we'll see what happens with that. For what reason should we do this? No reason at all except for it being fun. When/if this happens we'll just upload it somewhere for you to grab it. Nothing more to it than that actually.

In the meantime we're just putting together more shit for the next album, but there are no tracks completed. Just ideas recorded at home and when the time is right we'll have a sitting and start composing for real.

/ The Hate, March 28th, 2006

Late February update

Sorry we haven't updated for a month or so, but we don't have that much to say right now since not much is happening, so we thought we could inform you about that, haha...

At the moment we are just recording some ideas for new songs, but we are nowhere near to start composing for real when it comes to album number 5. "Armageddon March Eternal" was pretty much just released and we are still promoting that one thru interviews and whatnot. We'll make sure to inform you guys about the song-writing for the next album, and if you enter the forums you'll be aware of anything Hate-ish on a daily basis. In the meantime, make sure to get yer hands on the new album.

/ The Hate, February 24th, 2006

About Q&A-section

As you might have noticed the "Questions and answers" -sections is gone from the site. This is becoz of a server-change that happened and the version we used for the book was outdated as hell. We have no idea if we are going to bring it back in the future but we hope so.

/ The Hate, January 30th, 2006

Brief news update

We wish we had alot to tell you about what's happening in the Hate-camp as for now, but we don't, haha... We haven't heard anything more about the planned video that some friends of Threeman Recordings wanted to do, so we'll see what happens with that. We are sure it'l be cool if it ever turns out though. Besides that, we are just doing some interviews and have started composing for album number 5 now. We haven't entered full-writing mode just yet since we are in no rush, and the latest album is still kinda "new", but bits and pieces are being put together now at least. There are also some cool plans regarding the next album, but this is way too early to announce anything concrete since alot of things will happen down the lane.

If we are not completely mistaken, this week is the week for the American release of "Armageddon March Eternal" (with some bonus-remixes and shit on it). Make sure to try to find it and blast the damn thing in the name of Satan.

Anyways, if you have nothing better to do, download the remixes that we have here at the site. Those bastards are quite awesome actually.

Dlimi of Aeon just completed another remix of one of the tracks off "AME". This time "Symphony of the deceived" was brought up for slaughtering.

Thanx Dlimi.

News update for mid-December

Our former label Threeman asked us for the files to a song from the latest album of ours. Why? Becoz they want to make a video for it, as we have mentioned before. We are very happy for this and can only hope this thing sees the light of day sometime. We definitely look forward to seeing the final result one day.

We are, as stated earlier, still shopping around for a new deal with some label of sorts. As soon as we have more information for you, we'll hand it out here and/or at our forum.

On a last note, we have just started composing a little for the 5th studio album. 2 months after the release of our latest masterpiece. That wasn't really planned, haha... But it feels damn good.

Brief news update for early December

We are now looking for a new record-deal so interested parties can contact us.

/ The Hate, December 9th, 2005

Brief news-update for November

Last week we told Threeman that TPH wants out of the contract due to alot of reasons. Label-man Alx called us while K was in Holland and said that they were cool with it. Now we are just waiting for the official papers to make this go thru.

Why are we doing this?

Becoz none of us are chuffed with how everything's being dealt with. We will start looking for a new label-home asap (no rush since we have no concrete plans as for when we will record the follow-up to "Armageddon March Eternal").

We thank Threeman for what they have done and wish them luck with any eventual new signings and whatnot. Hopefully they will have better finances and possibilities to take care of their future bands a bit better.

We wish them nothing but the best.

New shirts on their way

Reviews for "Armageddon March Eternal" are starting to drop in, much to our pleasure. It seems like people understands shit. Anyways, the reason for this news-flash is that we now have new t-shirts in stock (or they will be available in a week or so). Check them out at the order-page at Threeman.net and make sure to get one.

There's still talk about making a video but no concrete plans have been made so we'll see what happens. The song planned to be used for it is an edited version of "Resurrected for massive torture" off the latest masterpiece. We'll keep you informed as soon as we know more.

We have asked Michael to join TPH as a full member. We have actually hinted at it for quite some time with him and he always answered " - I'd be honoured".

Well, Michael is now an official member of the band. It was very easy to come up with this seing how much he enjoyed playing our shit and it's not exactly going to take any time away from Evergrey you know, since we won't be playing live or tour or anything like that.

We are very happy to have him in the band considering the work he did on the coming album, and we welcome him to the Hate.

Expect a bio and whatnot on Michael in due time.

Remember, October 5th is the date for Armageddon.

Deadmarch: Initiation of blasphemy

Now we have quite a treat for you Haters... Most of you probably heard about the lost "Deadmarch" tapes, right? If not, let's put long story in short:

Deadmarch was the complete embryo to what finally became TPH. We recorded one album, but it never saw the light of day. After TPH was formed and years passed, we dug the album out from the archives and gave it a few listens and thought about the possibility to have J re-record the vocals for it since K was never satisfied with the vocal outcome. Yes, you got it, J didn't do the original vocals for the album - that being one of the reasons we never released it. The intention was to release it as a special treat for our fans, cos the album itself holds many aspects we think our fans would've loved to hear. This plan, thanx to many reasons (mentioned pretty in-depth at the forums), never happened. So we have decided to give you all the unreleased album for downloading for a short period of time.

Yeah, yeah, we know, we are completely awesome.

There's only one "but" to it: It means that you have to register at our forums to find the links to all the songs and detailed info about the album and why it never was re-recorded.

This album might be something to still yer hunger a little while waiting for October 5th when the new masterpiece gets released worldwide...

And just so you know, we most definitely will have another treat for you Haters very soon. Keep checking in here...

Clips of Armageddon

Haters!

A little more than a month and a half until "Armageddon March Eternal (Symphonies of slit wrists)" hits all of you like a ton of fucken concrete. It went to pressing few days ago and promos will be sent out shortly to all the important magazines and crap. We thought it'd be nice to hand out 1 minute clips of all songs for you as a teaser until you can download/buy/steal the damn thing in full, so that's exactly what we are going to do.

We are so satisfied with what we have achieved together with Dan Swanö and Michael of Evergrey and really look forward to have you fucko's understand the Domination that is this piece of coming plastic.

In the meantime, enjoy the clips and buy the damn album when it's out.

TPH goes more techno...

With too much free time on our hands before the scheduled October-release of "Armageddon March Eternal", we have decided to hand you a re-mix of "At the entrance to hell's unholy fire". We have no idea if this one will ever see the light of day on a recording in the future, as a bonus-track or whatever, we just felt like putting it together and show a different side of the original tune.

Release date

"Armageddon March Eternal - Symphonies of slit wrists" will be released on October 5th, thru Threeman Recordings.

Latest update on "Armageddon March Eternal"

"Helllloooo…..

So I´m back again. Working with Mr. K. It´s been a great experience for me, to finally satisfy this perfectionist. It´s been quite tough sometimes, the lost Easter holiday re-amping guitars and doing my taxes at the same time. Well, both turned out great, so looking back, nothing to be nagging about.
I know it sounds like a cliché, but this is the best TPH this far. I find it hard to believe that Kekko K will ever make a better album that this, but I guess poeple said that the last time as well... I don´t have any particular favorite song, I think all of them hold up extremely well and that is what scares me!!!

I don´t think anyone will understand just have extremely carefully this album has been recorded, programmed and mixed. We´re talking about endless hours of correcting things no human being ever would have noticed, except The K man... so we fucken fixed it... and all those breaths... goddamn... but anyway... after a gazillion remixes and attemps to get a satisfactory master CD, I think we´re there (still waiting for the final “YES” from mr. K)

Soundwise I believe this to be one of the best mixes I have ever done. We have pushed ourselves and kept going for a sound that is crushingly brutal death fucking metal yet modern metal crystal clean. It´s been a real hell trying to get a good balance for certain parts. When there´s 4 guitars, 1 bass, drums, lead guitars, a shitload of keyboards and some female-vocals thrown in all together, things get a bit rough and you thank.. whatever... for the invention of Nuendo and it´s many tracks and automation!!! After this record I must admit that Jörgen is the best death metal singer in the world and K is the tightest rhythmguitarist this side of the known universe (Haha, bullshit. That's Jensen. But thanx. / K) . The rest of the performances are also great. Mazza is doing some cool shit, the lady sings like Amy Lee – ‘nuff said. And the bass...THE BASS!!! Mr. Håkansson, Fuck, yeah!! Now I must go back to work on my pretentious pop-album that will make Kekko Ph shit bricks of anger when he hears it!!

Yours truly/ Dan Swanö"

We wanna thank D for the great collaboration and we look forward to work with him for the next album as he fully understands what we are doing, fulfilling every wish we had for the album and helping out to improve the shit and sort a killer-sound for this masterpiece. As will be noticed in the liner-notes of the album, everything recorded is dedicated to Mieszko Talarzcyk and we think his spirit helped out in one way or the other.

Just some words about the songs on the coming album... There's so much we could say but I'm trying to keep it short.

At the entrance to hell's unholy fire - Well, you heard one version of it though it's not the one coming on the actual album. I don't know how much I can add to it. The first track written for the album and right away I felt this would be the opener. Blasting double-bass and ass-heavy riffing.

Key-lines:
"The pillars of heaven are crushed
We revel in filth and lust
I'm born supreme, infernal
Armageddon March Eternal
"

The bleeding eyes of a breeding whore - Has a opening-riff that will make you fuckers cry. Heavy as fuck with some insane bass-things by Michael. Mazza's thrown in some extremely catchy riffs in this one where Jo sounds very... eh... sexy and desperate. J has some of his lowest vocals ever in this track, they're only beaten by one other particular track as far as lowness comes on this album. Not to mention the mid-section that will bring fucken tears to your eyes... Jo has outdone herself.

Key-lines:
"I am the nails, the spear and the crown of thorns
The essence of massacre
"

I see nothing but flesh - Tricky and groovy riffing in this one. Some really cool guitar-stuff all over the place and insane and eerie choirs incorporated. Includes a mid-section that I know Mazza absolutely loves. One of the better softer parts I have ever written I think. So much guitar-harmonies I can't even remember playing half of them.

Key-lines:
"We grow stronger by the second
Your forces of light can not protect the son
This is more than warfare
This is Armageddon!
"

Resurrected for massive torture - One of the saddest fucken riffs I ever wrote for the start. Mazza's harmony on it kills everything. Prolly the least complicated one songstructure-wise, but fear not... There's among our heaviest riffs ever made in this one and this is the track where I'm talking about J's career's lowest vocals ever. Complete insanity with some magnificent bass-lines from Michael and some out-of-this-fucken-world vocals by Jo as well as fantastic fucken groove. Insane... This is the videotrack, though in a very edited version. Jo Bench of Bolt Thrower grants us a neat little speech within this one.

Key-lines:
"Behold he is gone, the Nazarene son
Behold, we are victorious, we are the ones
Slowly floats the river where hate and pride unite
Come wrath, come vengeance
As we have yet more wars to fight
"

We couldn't be further from the truce - Matti from Vicious Art handed over a riff to me some time ago that made it into ths song. It's one excellent riff and it comes back once or twice during the tune. This one holds one of my fave-parts on the whole album. J's fucken vocals kills me. He's never sounded better, ever. And I mean that as in "on this whole album". Jo is as excellent as always, reaching her peak in the verse that's executed a few times. Not to mention the wonderful ending of this tune.

Key-lines:
"We should never have been cast out
From the carnage in your heaven
There's no stopping the slaughter to come
We'll return stronger than ever
"

Godslaughtering murder machine - One of Mazza's fave-opening riffs I think, and he didn't even write it. Some really heavy shit going on in this one and Mazza's provided some awesome shit in this one as well (as in every other song, I just forget to mention it). Jo sounds like a fucken evil queen in this fucker. Violins that makes you wanna slit your wrists here and there. Completely fucked up shit and I wonder where the hell we digged to come up with this... The ending holds such a fucken monumentous riff and atmosphere it's completely insane. Competely fucken insane I tell you. Satanic De Luxe.

Key-lines:
"The fools have died and the fools have bled
Brought upon the earth, the ultimate death
A work of art within this splendid bloodshed
"

Symphony of the deceived - Excellent opening riff courtesy of Mazza. Sweet guitar-playing for sure. Brutality from the get-go. Once again Jo sounds like a fucken twisted dominatrix, and I love every second of it. J displays some insane low growls again and it gives me the fucken creeps how this guy can sound. You thought he was good before? He was, but this is something else. For the first time we actually managed to incorporate a full-on black metal riff, thanx to Mazza. Sweet soloing by that fucker as well. Absolutely one of my fave-songs and it has a million of stuff happening within it, just like every other track by the way, haha...

Key-lines:
"Unworthy of being the saviour
Creator of feeble tales
For ours is the kingdom, it belongs to us
Us, the Hordes of Baphomet
"

Loveless, godless, flawless - This one just wanna make you lie down in the bathtub, light a candle, bring a razor and slit your wrists over and over again. Scary track. Beautiful, but scary. Jo is incredible on this one and never did I think J would be involved in composing a track that sounds like this...

Key-lines:
"Weak like all God's sheep
This is a new dawn, the turn of justice
His wrath is upon us now
"

Album completed

"Armageddon March Eternal - Symphonies of slit wrists" is now mastered and completed. Threeman plans to launch this one in October, so stay tuned for a definite releasedate. We are also making an edited version of one of the tracks for a possible video that Threeman wants to do. We'll see what happens with that as they were supposed to make one off "HDCE" as well, which naturally didn't happen.

It feels great to be finished with the album now and what we have accomplished is nothing short of a monster.

For all the relevant info on the album, look it up here at the site. Stay tuned for more updates.

The progress on the new album, late May update

Finally we have talked to Threeman and stuff looks cool. Lord K Philipson and Dan Swanö will complete the album this Thursday when we will do the last small corrections (there were but a few) for it. Then we'll have a mastered and 99% complete copy to listen to, to see if there's any digital errors/clicks or anything in it. This feels great, now it's up to Threeman to set a date for it. They were always fast with this so we are looking forward to see when it's going to be unleashed.

Damn guys, just a few more days and then the damn thing is ready.

Oh, and the version of "At the entrance to hell's unholy fire" is not the version that will end up on the album, we decided to play around a little with alternative vocal-takes and programmings, which improved the tune even more. You'll see...

ARMAGEDDON MARCH ETERNAL!

/ The Hate, May 23rd, 2005

Armageddon finally comes!

Or, at least a taste of it...

What better day to embrace the Apocalypse in it's most sonic and visual form than on Friday the 13th? None, we tell you...

Welcome to the new site of The Project Hate MCMXCIX.

As you all know, Lord K Philipson and Dan Swanö's been mixing the upcoming soundtrack to Armageddon for a while now and thought it'd be appropriate to give you a (not so small) taste of what's to come as soon as Threeman goes public with a releasedate for the new masterpiece.

So, here we are.

We have decided to hand you guys a full fucken version in advance of the opener of the coming album, "At the entrance to hell's unholy fire". Backing vocals on this track performed by "The Troops of Devastation":

Gustaf Jorde (Defleshed), Jonas Granvik (Without Grief & Dead End World), Morten Hansen (ACQ), Linus Ekström (Into Desolation & Pandemonic), Peter Andersson, Anders Eriksson (Hydra), Lalle Levin, Tobbe Sillman (Vicious Art), Jocke Widfeldt (Vicious Art), Matti Mäkelä (Vicious Art), Insulter of Jesus Christ! (Damnation), Jonas Torndal (Grave), Anders Schultz (Unleashed) and Björn Åkesson (Celtic Frostflakes).

Listen to it repeatedly, absorb it, and make yourself ready to be completely crushed. This is the only song we will hand out on this site before the actual release of the album. It should give you a hint about what we will deliver: Pure Fucken Domination. There's two versions of the track: high quality and 192kbs version, but the high quality version we'll be removed after few weeks. So for now, you'll decide which version you want cos after that it's only the 192kbs version you'll find from this site. So we recommend getting the better version now in order to fully enjoy the domination.

Stay tuned for more updates.
