The new album will be released on New Years Eve says the Internet?

No, it will not. Obviously quite a few Internet websites have reported that we will release “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” on New Year’s Eve. Wherever that information came from – I don’t know. We never said it would be released then, and we certainly do not plan to release it on that day. Do not trust anything about us that is written unless it’s announced at this site first. You guys who supported this recording (and who supports it to this day by donating), you will get it as soon as it’s finished, no matter what day it is.

MUTHAFUCKEN DONE!!!

That’s right, Haters. The album is mixed and fucken done as far as that part is concerned. But it is not done in its entirety just yet (can’t say anything more…). Now me and Dan’s got a few more small things to deal with before we can unleash this beast upon mankind. Or actually, release it to the ones who have supported the recording of this. I will be back with a lengthier post when everything is ready. Should be within a week or so. Just wait for that one. In the meantime I will keep you updated on the process of these last few things.

Final session!

Yes, this is it… All the corrections have been made and now it’s time for me to go thru everything closely one last time before we can consider the mix completed. Today is the day when those expensive Denon in-ears will come in handy, to make sure we’re at a 100 percent now. Tomorrow we’ll do the eventual last fixes that I might find with this last check and then we’re almost done. Just a few small things to take care of after that before it’s time for you to experience “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” in its entirety. If all goes well, it shouldn’t be too far away now…

No, this has nothing to do with the album (though in some ways it does when I think about it…). It is with great pride I announce the fact that I have been endorsed by the marvelous people at Toontrack. I have been buying and using their products for many, many years now when writing for TPH and Torture Division. Started with the revolutionizing product EZ Drummer and it’s Drumkit From Hell expansion some centuries back. After that I moved on to the astonishing Superior Line and specifically Superior 2.0 which absolutely raised the bar on what could be done with programmed drums. I eventually ended up buying the work from Dirk Verbeuren that Toontrack did with him, namely Library of the Extreme – Blasts & Fills,  Library of the Extreme – Death & Thrash and Library of the Extreme – Fill Insanity. And yes, those are all links becoz I want you to click them and I want you to buy the products and become as awesome as I am in the process. How’s that for some selling arguments?

Seriously, to say that Toontrack’s products have been of insane help is the understatement of the year, and to land an endorsement deal from them is a dream come true. I wanna thank Toontrack’s head honcho Mattias Eklund for being absolutely awesome and for realizing that endorsing me will sky rocket the sales of their products since I am a true superstar.

Ahem. Well, yeah…

One last thing… some people have gotten in touch with me and asked if it’s too late to participate in The TPH Donation Experiment. Yes, obviously it is since that thing actually became a success some time back and came to an end with that. But what you need to understand is that it’s not too late to make a donation and get the album from us, just like it says on this info page. That’s the whole idea. Click the link and read. Entering the (almost) final stage.

Just got the latest mix from Dan with the (very close to) last corrections and fixes as well as the last song (“Carving out the tongues which speak of salvation”, in case you wondered) for me to go through during the day. This means we are very close to wrapping this up now. I expect a few sessions with “Carving” before it’s finished, but the rest of the corrections should have been taken care of now. As you can see, this process of mixing “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” has been going extremely smooth and I am absolutely astonished by this creation, both performance wise and production wise. But more of that some other time. Now I have some work to take care of.
