Track six is getting there…

At this point there’s some seven and a half minutes pretty much completed of the body work for track six. As soon as I have the time I will sit down and put down the rest of the stuff I have in mind for this one. After that it’s time to start composing all the electronics, which will take a long time, to put it mildly. Both the different tuned Xiphoses have come in handy for this piece and it sounds killer on all accounts.

I’ll keep you updated as always, you guys who give a shit.

The work on the final (?) track has begun…

There’s nothing like getting up at 5 in the morning and get to work on the planned 6th track with this environment accompanying me in The Dungeon:

Inspiring, to say the least.

The TPH main Ibanez Xiphos (yes, there’s 2 of them with different tunings for TPH) is begging to be played so I can get all these riffs down. I have a few different ideas as for how to open up this last planned tune and haven’t decided on which one is better for the purpose. This is what I need to try out now so things get even more moving than they already are. There’s no shortage on riffs, lemme tell you that…

Ok, back to work. No need to wish me luck, I have this shit locked down, haha…

Bringing down the (acoustic) thunder…

A few weeks ago this bad boy was purchased to further enhance the Domination that is TPH’s next album, and the same last few weeks have been spent putting down some incredibly tasty acoustic work into some sections of the songs. We have never been more vicious than with this new material. Maybe you’ll get to hear it all one of these days.

We’ll see…

The material is shaping up on another level and it’s a joy to hear what’s been created this far. As mentioned before, well over an hour composed already and I still have a thousand ideas I need to put down and work with. Luxury problems, people… luxury problems.

“HDCE” – 10 year anniversary!

Insanity… 10 years ago, in April, we entered Soundlab Studios and recorded “HDCE”, a very special album on all accounts. Still to this day this album holds up on all accounts and the production work is just mind blowing. The late Mieszko really nailed it there.

August 25th, 2003 this album saw the light of day…
