Mixing in process!
Yep, Dan’s sent over a few things now for me to go thru and this definitely sounds promising to say the least. At the moment I am giving some feedback as for what to change and with two versions of this first song down, we are getting closer towards the goal. Still some stuff to fix before I feel satisfied with the result, but we are getting there and work will resume this coming week. We are definitely moving forward big-time, and as I have said all along: this will take the time it takes to make it perfect. We’re not rushing anything.
And so it has begun…
Dan Swanö started to mix the album today. It’s going to be quite a journey… Stay tuned for more updates on the mixing process as we go along. All of you who participated in The TPH Donation Experiment – you will soon be rewarded. If you wanna have this album when it’s completed, click this link and see what you have to do to get it.
The day of reckoning has finally come.
I surely have not been resting…
It’s been a few days since the last update, so let’s give you Haters a heads-up. Mr. Swanö‘s now handed almost all of the material that is going for “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” and word is he’ll start working on everything this week. Unbelievable… we’re here now. The last piece of this work of art is about to be completed. Be sure there will be some serious time spent on the mixing by me and Swanö. He knows my approach to this album, he knows what this is supposed to become and he will work his goddamned ass off to make it all come alive. I’ll try to keep you up-to-date as we go along, like I always do, but if you hear nothing from me on the process of mixing it’s becoz I am spending every free second working on this masterpiece to show you all how it’s done in the end.
Now is when this beast will become the flesh for all of you supporters to devour.
Everything done!
Almost anyways. All the guest parts and whatnot are completed. The last solos from Danny Tunker just came in and they are sounding absolutely amazing as expected. Thank you, brother! It’s an honour to have you on this album. Also, Dan’s got the first song now to start working the sound with, which feels awesome. We are definitely moving forwards faster than expected, and everything is still going according to plan. No fuck-up’s, no problems whatsoever… Knock on wood. Some shit always happens when you’re recording an album, you know. So far, so good though.
I have spent the whole day working on the last details and making the files for the first song ready for Swanö, and this is no easy part of the process. Not to mention how time consuming it is… So many things to think about and make right before he can have them, but I believe we got the formula down now. Work continues tomorrow since I got like 10 or so more songs to complete.
Updates will follow as soon as I have anything new to report. Now I deserve sleep after working 16 hours straight.
Domination underway!
Location: The Dungeon. Saturday morning. And by morning I mean 4 in the morning. Creativity at its highest peak. Surrounded by (almost) complete darkness, this is the time when greatness is achieved. The picture shows “We watch in silence as the earth turns to blood” being bounced for the final mix. What I am saying is that I have now gone thru the second of the 12 tracks that will be “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” and consider it completed, ready for the mix.
Had a few great conversations with Mr. Swanö yesterday and we agreed that it’s a great idea to actually start shipping over the songs as they are completed instead of waiting until I have gone through all of the material. Just becoz we can and this will give Dan more time to work with everything, coz fuck knows he’s in for something else this time, the poor bastard. I’m justing waiting for a few things from Dan before I’ll start delivering the goods to him, and then we are rolling. I can’t really explain how much I look forward to hearing what he’ll cook up production-wise this time around, but be sure he’ll have to work his ass off to make it what it’s supposed to be.
Now if you excuse me, I have another song to work on. Only 10 more to go…
