Song writing update.

As the beautiful individuals we are, here’s another update for ya. The work on track 6 have started, but trust me when I say that it’ll be a while before this one is completed since we are just in the early stages of composing for it. This means we re just 2 songs away from completing the material I have in mind for the next masterpiece, if it turns out to be a reality in the end. In case you missed out on it, by clicking this link you will find out that our next planned album is depending on your donations. So far we have gotten 800 dollars, which means there’s a long way to go before we have reached the goal we need to record it. Nonetheless, we thank all of you who have donated so far, you who thinks donating is a great way to help out in making this album come alive. You are the best.

But back to the song writing. I have tons of stuff lined up for this 6th track, it’s just a matter of working it all out. As expected, though, we are off for a fantastic start with it. Looking back on what’s been written so far, there’s no doubt in my mind that this is the finest TPH material to date. Can’t wait to get it all in to the studios and bring this beast to the forefront if it eventually comes to that. Keep your fingers crossed for it to happen.

Again, thanx for your support. Now Ill get back to composing. We have some amazing music to deliver, you know.

The 5th tune is finished!

And there we go. Track number 5 for the next masterpiece is now finished after some long hours of insane work with the last details. Once again, this tune feels absolutely amazing – just like the other 4 completed ones. As I have told you before there’s a little different take in this one than what you are used to with TPH, but still it’s not. You’ll understand when you hear it. Get used to us pointing out the TPH Donation Experiment time and time again since the next album is depending on that. So, click the link and help us make this album a reality. With this 5th tune completed it means I’ll now head over to the 6th one, which is already started actually. I have a good idea what I wanna do with that one, so to say I am looking forward to sink my teeth into it would be putting it mildly. We are definitely creating something diabolical with this one…

Song writing and donations update!

Thanx to you insanely awesome Haters we have now reached 600 dollars in donations. That is absolutely not cat shit, to say the least, and there’s no way we can thank you enough for this. Still, a long way to go before we have reached the goal, but if it continues like this – there will be a new TPH album in 2012. Thank you, guys and gals. Thank you so fucken much. It’ll be mindblowing if this actually turns out to work. And if it doesn’t, you already know that the money will be returned to you, as promised.

And now over to some more awesome news. I have been working on this fifth track’s orchestrations since early this morning and things are coming together now. I’ll have to let this stuff sink in for a bit and see that it’s working as I think it is. I have decided that this one will be the closer for the album, and when you hear it you will understand perfectly fine why that is. It’s a little different approach to this one than what you are used to when it comes to TPH, but then again – a lot of the stuff on this album is. We have definitely enhanced our formula, but fear not – we are not straying away from what we have created in the past. Not at all, we have just upped the quality once again. So, not too much work on this fifth tune remaining, but it’ll still be some time before I can hand it over to the rest of the guys in the band. Don’t wanna deliver something half-finished, you know. Yes, I know – I have told you all this before but it’s important to repeat it in case you forgot it, you know.

So, keep them donations coming and help us out to be able to record this monster of a coming album. I can guarantee you you won’t be disappointed with it if you ever dug what we have done in the past. Stay tuned for more updates, as always.

We are around, in the shadows, making sweet music…

Just wanted to let you know that we have not stopped writing for the album or anything like that. It’s been a little silent in here for a week or so and it’s all becoz there are some excellent stuff happening in some of our personal lives that needs attention – meaning the updates here won’t come as often for a bit. You just hang in there coz we are working hard at what will be our next album. Just becoz we don’t say much at this point in time doesn’t mean we do not devote ourselves to perfection of the coming beast.

Just trust me on this.

Look to the right…

Inside that one there’s some amazing music being stored. And as it looks, the first real draft of the 5th song is now completed, which means it’s time to check the guitars for eventual errors and stuff that needs to be re-recorded to make it perfect. As suspected, this one will be a tune where Mike Wead will really get to shine (as if he didn’t shine brighter than the sun already when it comes to playing guitar). There is a good chance that this 5th tune will eventually end up being the closer of the album, at least that’s how it feels at this very stage. I am extremely happy with the outcome of this one even if there’s tons of work left with it before it’s complete. It’s definitely a little different approach to it than what you are used to with our music, and I am sure you will adore it. There’s a real dark atmosphere present, one that is bringing forth the purgatory we are always aiming for. The next step, after recording bass and checking the guitars, is to add the orchestral parts as always. Can’t wait to wrap this one up and move on to the next. Safe to say, things are going absolutely excellent when it comes to the writing of our next masterpiece.
