Mixing…

DONE!

MUTHAFUCKEN DONE!!!

That’s right, Haters. The album is mixed and fucken done as far as that part is concerned. But it is not done in its entirety just yet (can’t say anything more…). Now me and Dan’s got a few more small things to deal with before we can unleash this beast upon mankind. Or actually, release it to the ones who have supported the recording of this. I will be back with a lengthier post when everything is ready. Should be within a week or so. Just wait for that one. In the meantime I will keep you updated on the process of these last few things.

Final session!

Yes, this is it… All the corrections have been made and now it’s time for me to go thru everything closely one last time before we can consider the mix completed. Today is the day when those expensive Denon in-ears will come in handy, to make sure we’re at a 100 percent now. Tomorrow we’ll do the eventual last fixes that I might find with this last check and then we’re almost done. Just a few small things to take care of after that before it’s time for you to experience “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” in its entirety. If all goes well, it shouldn’t be too far away now…

Entering the (almost) final stage.

Just got the latest mix from Dan with the (very close to) last corrections and fixes as well as the last song (“Carving out the tongues which speak of salvation”, in case you wondered) for me to go through during the day. This means we are very close to wrapping this up now. I expect a few sessions with “Carving” before it’s finished, but the rest of the corrections should have been taken care of now. As you can see, this process of mixing “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” has been going extremely smooth and I am absolutely astonished by this creation, both performance wise and production wise. But more of that some other time. Now I have some work to take care of.

Closer… closer… closer…

I have been spending the whole day with more corrections of the material and Dan’s almost nailed everything now. Still a few small things to take care of (like 4 or 5 over the course of the whole album), but considering the amount of stuff he’s had to correct so far according to my wishes – this is a piece of cake to sort out. There’s one whole tune left (saved this one for last) to go thru with these corrections, so I expect a few sessions with that one before the album is finally completed. Then, as mentioned, I will let the album rest for a few days before I’ll play it in my iPod with those expensive Denon in-ear’s and a few other sound sources to make sure it’s sounding as awesome as it obviously sounds in my Cerwin Vega’s. Let me tell you one thing – I wouldn’t want to be Dan and have to mix a TPH album of this magnitude. The guy is a phenom and I can never thank him enough for the absolutely astonishing sound he’s fired up for us this time around.

It’s all falling into place…

As usual, up early to check the songs from Swanö for corrections and what he’s done with the past corrections I have given him. Well, we are close now. A few more sessions with this and we are done. The stuff he’s pulled off is amazing. The production is crushing and the amount of time he’s spent to be able to bring out all the details is just insane. I wouldn’t wanna be working with me at this point, lemme put it like that, haha… But it’s as I have said all along – I haven’t spent all this time on this album to let anything slide now in the final stage of completing “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda”. And the result is… beastly. In a not too distant future you’ll experience it all.
