Drums for “Blood Design” finished!
Say hello to Mr. Verbeuren. 1 finger representing 1 song (opener “Blood Design”) is now completed drum wise. In his own words:
“- Dear Haters: after a long delay, the time has come for me to dig deep into “OCACP”. Having now listened to every song in detail, I can honestly say that K, E, J and the rest of the TPH hordes have once again concocted a supremely epic opus of metal mastery! It’s truly a pleasure to contribute some beats and fills to this beast of a record. As a matter of fact, drums for song number one are now done. Stay tuned for more updates coming your way shortly!”
Before rounding this post up, lemme just tell you that the work D is doing for this album is, again nothing short of absolutely mindblowing. When I heard “Blood Design” the first time with his drums I couldn’t believe my ears. And especially one part in this tune just had me stop the playback to rewind and see if what I heard was actually correct…
It was.
Even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t even be able to program drums like that. Without a doubt, that section is one of the sickest drum parts I have ever heard.
Mr. Verbeuren is one of a kind and a drum phenom among mere mortals. It is such an honor to be able to have my fave drummer of all time on yet another TPH album. Absolutely insane. I can’t say good enough words about Dirk to make him justice, really. But thanx, D – thanx for being a part of this.
