Tobben is in the studio – part 2.

Straight from the mouth of Tobben:

“I’ll try to shoot some clips from the studio tonight. As you already know by now, I began recording the drums together with Mats Lindström at the Big Balls Productions studio last night. After having a cup of coffee and some chatting we began with the song that will be the second song on the album. I felt this was a good one to start with, since it’s not too much difficult parts in it, and it turned out to be a good choice. I’m very happy with how it turned out. We’re aiming on recording one song per day, but tonight I will be at the studio earlier than yesterday, so we’re counting on nailing at least one and a half song tonight.”

Some words from J!

“Just got home from the studio.

I had like 3 hours of sleep last night and woke up nauseous so I was afraid that I would not be able to do anything today as planned. But after a days work I got home, took a quick shower, got dressed to kill, jumped up on my Harley Davidson FXD`97 (which if for sale if anybody is interested,) got to the studio around 18.00. At 20.00 I was done with 2 more songs. Actually 1 and a half coz I did the first half last time… It went very smooth and quick. So I took a second ride on the hog and now at home with a slight headache and tired as a loaf!

1 more to go. Probably next Monday.”

Here is a new video of Tobben playing drums in the rehearsal room. This will at least give you a little hint of what’s to come. Actually, it won’t becoz there’s no bass, no orchestras and the drumsound is straight from the rehearsal room. Also, the guitars aren’t 100% synched becoz video editing is a bitch. They are good enough though. Either way – you shall worship this. And you shouldn’t mind the quite sucky sound quality.

Today J is off to the studio for more vocals. Tobben starts tomorrow, not today. Error in communication thee between the studio and T. Either way it will all be total greatness.
