Wanna design a shirt for us?

Here’s yer chance to have a design made by you on a limited edition (as always) shirt for The Project Hate MCMXCIX. It’s supposed to be black and white (white print on black shirt) and by now you should know that we are quite fond of the anti-christian way of things, meaning the design should follow those lines… What’s in it for you? Not much, a free shirt or 2 and the privilege of having your work on a shirt of ours, in case we choose to use it ofcourse. We just thought it would be cool to see if any Haters out there can have their way with Photoshop or whatever. We are looking for a front design, the back will be something we make ourselves.

Update on the pre-productions!

I’ll keep this short. Just got the pre-production vocals from Ruby for the third track. All I can say is… wow. The Kid is absolutely phenomenal.

A quick heads-up!

Updates are a bit slow at the moment since I am concentrating on completing the lyrics and vocal sections for track 5 before starting to work on the final 6th track. I already have some ideas lined up for it though so it’s just a matter of sitting down and letting the mayhem begin… After the work I did with track 5 I did plan to take a well-deserved short break before starting on the last tune, as mentioned before. So that is what I am doing (writing lyrics and whatnot is included in the break, haha). Just stay tuned for more updates as we move forwards with the work for this coming masterpiece.

One step closer to completion…

Pretty much all the orchestra work is now done for the 5th track, and it feels so fucken great. Now I’ll just work with some additional loops and everything, but the tune is completed to 95% after some days of insanely hard work. This one might quite possibly be my favourite out of the 5 completed ones, and that says alot since the new material is something else.

One more to go… Just one fucken more tune to go…

Blood, sweat and absolutely no tears…

Went up at 5-something this morning and have been working on track 5 for about 14 hours straight now. Insane, but insanely fun too. All of Tobben‘s drum patterns have been programmed so he knows what to play (well, it’s his guidelines anyways) and there’s some really cool shit in this one that Tobben will have a field-day with, I’m sure of it. Initially this song was pretty much completed with temporary guitars in a tad slower tempo, but after listening to it a few times I felt it needed to be sped up just a little – so I did that and also re-recorded all the temporary guitars again. Now it feels ace.

I have also started working on all the orchestra stuff, and this will take quite some time becoz there are a few passages that I really need to spend some hours with to get it to sound like I want it to. After that I need to check if there’s any needs for loops and whatnot (there always is a need for loops and whatnot, haha). This is going to be the ending track for the album. I felt that as soon as I started working on it and it definitely turned out to be just that. When you hear it you will understand what I mean.

Still a long way to go with this one before it’s completed in full – but the major work is done now (except for the remaining orchestras, as mentioned), and it feels fantastic by all means. I reckon I’ll need to spend some more week(s) with this one before being a 100% satisfied and I can move on to the last of the 6 planned tracks.

This is a great day. I have a headache but still need to work with this since the inspiration has moved into The Dungeon full-time at the moment.

Goddamn.

More updates will follow as soon as I have something new to report, be so sure.
