Mixing update!

I got the first song with my corrections dealt with and it sounds fucken killer to say the least. Now there’s but a couple of more things to fix with it before it’s completed. Insanity. I also got the second track now to go thru and take notes for, but holy shit – this is turning out amazing on all accounts. You just wait.

Updates will follow as soon as I have anything to share with you all. Thanx for the support, Haters.

Third time’s the charm!

After telling Mr. Swanö what I thought was missing from the mixes I have gotten so far there are but a few very small details left before it’s perfect. I got the third mix of the first song today and we have been shooting each other e-mails over the last week or so, working closely together to get to the point I am aiming for. And Mr. D’s fucken nailed it! That guy is a wizard and this production will crush, for sure. Now, as mentioned, there’s these 2 minor details that I wanna get right before we can consider ourselves done with the sound for “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda”. I am currently waiting for those to fall in place and then we are moving forward big time!

Oh, how glorious it is to see this beast come to life…

I believe I forgot to tell you…

This past weekend I had a special guest coming over to The Dungeon to do some work for the album. You might remember him becoz he used to play with us over the course of a few albums… Mr. Petter S. Freed, aka Mazza, took one of my Ibanez Xiphoses and put down one amazing solo for one of the songs on “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda”. I have always loved this guy’s guitar playing and to have him on “TCRA” feels awesome. Thanx, Mazza!

And when it comes to the mixing of this new album, work will resume today and we’re getting closer and closer to the sound I want. Still a few tweaks to handle before we’re there, but as mentioned numerous of times previously – we’re not rushing anything.

Stay tuned for more updates.

When the album is done…

Some people who donated to The Experiment and afterwards have wondered how they will get the album when it’s completed. I have naturally saved all of your e-mails and will send you a note as for how to get “The Cadaverous Retaliation Agenda” when it’s done. So, no need to worry. In case you know you have paid and have changed e-mail addy over the course of this recording process, just get in touch with me and we’ll work it out. Of you still haven’t donated, just click this link to find out how you can work it to hear this masterpiece in a month or two.

Spread the word, show us your support. Without it we are nothing.

Update: We saw some question on our Facebook about what formats we’ll send out the album in. Answer is: WAV and MP3 (320).

Mixing in process!

Yep, Dan’s sent over a few things now for me to go thru and this definitely sounds promising to say the least. At the moment I am giving some feedback as for what to change and with two versions of this first song down, we are getting closer towards the goal. Still some stuff to fix before I feel satisfied with the result, but we are getting there and work will resume this coming week. We are definitely moving forward big-time, and as I have said all along: this will take the time it takes to make it perfect. We’re not rushing anything.
