Just another small heads-up for The Haters!

As you all know, Tobben will not be doing the drums on the coming album, yes? But that doesn’t mean he’s not going to be on the album anyways, you know. Yesterday he spent some time at Big Balls Productions’ studio laying down some stuff for you to admire when you eventually get to hear the album. Thanx to Mats and Big Balls for taking the time to record Tobben’s work of the Devil for this coming magnum opus. In related new there’s not too much to report. J is rehearsing his stuff for when the time comes to start recording his inhuman vocals at A.R.T. Studios, Stockholm. Our girl Ruby is working hard on her stuff and has a few more songs to do before she can be tracked down in Portugal. Drummer extra-ordinaire Dirk is traveling around doing drum clinics and will put down his major part in June/July. Guitar hero Mike Wead’s prolly being an all-out vampire at the moment, waiting to get his stuff down as soon as he can find the time. Things are still going according to plan and when I said this beast will come alive in 2012, that’s what I meant. Hopefully nothing will fuck this up, so keep crossing your horns and we’ll continue in this fine pace – making everything perfect. To tease you just a little more, to the right you can see another small piece of the cover, courtesy of Marko Saarelainen.

I am so fucken proud of what we are creating right now, you will understand when you hear it. Anything else is just wrong.

Another step taken…

During the week I have picked out all the parts where Mike Wead will do his magic, which means another piece of the puzzle is completed. Furthermore I am currently working out where J and Ruby will sing as well as writing lyrics while at it. We are taking small steps every day towards completion of this album, our absolute finest hour. The vibe I get from listening to these songs is insane, and I can’t wait to hear your opinions on it when you eventually get to devour it. Our long-faithful friend and graphics artist Marko Saarelainen already started working on the cover, which looks incredible (and quite disturbing) even at this early stage. And yes, you can have a preview of a very small piece of it:

Yes, you can’t make out shit from that, just like we planned it. Wanna support TPH while we are working our asses off for you guys? Buy a shirt. Anyways, now I’ll go back to writing lyrics and pick out vocal sections.

This is all turning out beautiful.

Things are going great!

It seems like, just as we expected, people are embracing our new masterpiece. We have collected all the reviews we have found so far in this thread, but we would appreciate if you share any reviews you find for “BTNA” so we can collect them for future references. It’s always nice to see that, once again, we have made the right decisions when it comes to the band. “BTNA” couldn’t have been created without the changes we made last year. We are very, very proud of this album and it seems like people is catching up on it – finally understanding what we do.  If you haven’t purchased your personal copy of the disc just yet, you can order it from us directly. There are a few copies left, so make sure to get yours and support The Hate. We thank you so much, all of you who already got yours. In these times of illegal downloading it’s really crucial that we can ship some physical copies and make sure we secure another record down the line.

Sign up on the forums and stay in touch with all of us in TPH on a (pretty much) daily basis. We truly cherish the interaction with you guys.

Notification about iTunes issue!

Quite a few people have notified us about this. It seems like “Summoning majestic war” is being cut off too early on the iTunes version. for reasons we dont know. Someone were kind enough to mail us:

“I got my copy off iTunes and Summoning Majestic War ends abruptly at 9:44 (like, the lady is in the middle of singing and the music gets cut off and it goes to track 5). Was that a studio mistake? Otherwise, on the iTunes store they fucked the track.”

We have naturally informed Season Of Mist who’ve contacted iTunes to see what the fuck is up. SOM’s version plays all fine so it is definitely a problem at iTunes. Hopefully it gets fixed real soon coz it blows that you guys who bought it there have gotten cheated out of some minutes. They better make it up to you. In the meantime you can download the full high quality version here.

Update: We were just informed that this problem occurs at Spotify and Amazon as well. The ones responsible have been notified and the reply has been “Yes it has been redelivered.  Updating songs online takes between 4-8 weeks so hold tight.”
