Well, it took longer than expected seeing the promos have been out for a month. But, we still ask you guys to order the real deal from us – we deserve it, the label deserves it and you deserve a physical copy of it containing the sound as it should be. Below is a link to the thread over at our forums to use to find all the information you need about how to order it. We’ll have it in stock within 2 weeks and will send them out to all of you who ordered it so far (thank you so incredibly much) as soon as we do get them. Again, thanx so much for your support – it means the world to us.
Some of you have asked for a pre-ordering option for the new album. At this date, when the post is made, we haven’t yet received any physical copies of the masterpiece but we should get those in a couple of weeks, or a month. If you feel like pre-ordering it (which means paying for it now and getting it shipped to you as soon as we have the disc in our hands) – ofcourse you can do so. I recently changed bank which means I will only take orders thru PayPal right now until all those bank details are cleared and my previous accounts have been moved to the new bank – which might take all of this month to set up and sort. So, if you wanna pre-order the damn thing, just make a transaction to our PayPal account:
Due to PayPal fees, the record label’s share of every sold album and whatnot we are forced to higher the price a little than the usual amount we use for shirts and cd’s.
Prices for PayPal transactions (make a note saying LUSTRATE CD):
28 US Dollars
20 Euros
The prices INCLUDE postage and packaging to anywhere in the world.
We’ll get back to you with bank details for direct transfers later on (this mostly applies to Swedes).
Snail mail is also fine as long as you hide the cash well. Send to:

So, support The Hate and pre-order/order the new album!
With only but a month and a half until the release of the brand new masterpiece “The Lustrate Process” (street date July 6th, 2009 on thru Vic Records) we have decided to give you Haters a full song to enjoy. The tune is the second one on the album and it’s entitled “You come to me through hell” and is available on YouTube at this location:
Included in this song are backing vocalists LG Petrov of the legendary Entombed, Christian Älvestam (ex-Scar Symmetry) and super hero Martin van Drunen of Hail Of Bullets and Asphyx (also responsible for the vocals and bass on one of death metal’s absolute classics “Consuming impulse” by Pestilence). 3 people we admire and respect – we can’t thank them enough for their contributions. Also, as in all the other tunes on the album there’s a fantastic guitar solo by Mike Wead (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate and so forth).
Promos of “The Lustrate Process” are about to be sent out any given day now, so we wanted to make sure you get to hear a complete symphony directly from us before the shit is leaked. We sincerely wish that you buy this album when it’s out, so you get the complete concept with the booklet and everything coz it’s so much more to this piece than just music. As we have mentioned before you will be able to purchase the disc directly from us, and as soon as we have got them in stock you will be given all the ordering information you need.
More promo videos will be up as we go along. At least that’s the plan. We have covered some of the vocal sessions and a bit of drums… Guess we have to do something about the guitars and bass at some point, huh? Videos are lying around, it’s just a matter of having time to work with the material. Just keep on checking in here, when you least expect it there might be something new for you, you know…
Feel might free to voice your opinions about what you just heard here at our forums. We appreciate the eventual feedback.
Enjoy the tune.
Last off, here’s a few words (a few?!) from Lord K. Philipson about the album since pretty much everyone else included on it have had their saying during the process of the video updates and so forth.
“It feels so good to finally have the result of all this insane work that led to the completion of “The Lustrate Process”. I have never been so confident about any material that I have been involved with. I consider this my life’s work, on all accounts. Just the fact to have been able to gather some of my personal heroes musicianwise is a dream come true. First, fucken Martin van Drunen… A guy I have been holding as one of the best death metal vocalists of all time. I met him back in the early 90’s when I ran my fanzine at the time. Being a kid interviewing one of my heroes was huge for me and now this fucken guy sings on my album? If someone at the time would have told me this would be the case some 15-20 years into the future… well… I guess it’s safe to say I wouldn’t have believed it. Thank you Martin, you salty old bastard.
LG Petrov… The fabulous Entombed vocalist… A legend in his own rights and one of the coolest fuckers I know. How he ended up on the album is a story in itself. It involves a ferry, a mobile phone and lots of booze. LG actually did some vocals on the first and only demo that we did back in 1999 and now he’s with us again for this one. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you, LG.
Amon Amarth’s Johan Hegg. The guy with the half-beard and the fantastic growl. I have known him for years and he’s always been a tremendous fucken guy. I didn’t even know he was a TPH fan so that was even cooler when I got him to join in on this recording. Amon Amarth were recording their latest album at the time and me and a friend visited them in the studio (and got shit-drunk in the process) in my hometown. Somehow we came to the conclusion that since Johan was recording Amon’s vocals he might as well do some lines for the TPH album – everything was rigged for him in the studio already anyways. Thanx fucken loads, Johan.
Christian Älvestam. Fantastic vocalist with as great a growl as clean vocals. We don’t use clean male vocals too often but it’s obvious that Chrille really added what I wanted to this masterpiece. If he got to choose I think he would have sung on the whole fucken album together with Jörgen. The guy wouldn’t stay calm about wanting to sing on this piece and I’m fucken happy about his devotion to it. It really added some excellent shit to our stuff. Thanx a ton, Christian. Now all you need to do is change yer name coz it kinda bugs me to have some Christian on this satanic hymn. Har, har.
Robban Eriksson. The guy that Jo’s been recording her vocals with for the last few albums… Wonderful guy in all areas and one extremely awesome dude to work with. I cant thank you enough, man.
And the guitarists… Muthafucken Mike Wead is obviously a TPH fan as well, something I had no idea of. He sent a friend request over at MySpace some time ago and immediately when I saw that I had to have him on board for some solos. I have loved this guy’s work for fucken years and consider him on par with Malmsteen and the likes. I intentionally just thought we’d have one or 2 solos from him, but when he sent over the first sketch of the first solo I fucken went out and burned churches in joy over it. This guy is so talented it’s not even funny and he creates solos exactly the way I wish I could play them. But I don’t deal in solos so if Mike’s up for it – be fucken sure we will utilize his services for as long as we can. I can never thank you enough, Mike.
Pär Fransson and Henry Pyykkö aren’t exactly the most famous of the bunch but they still needed to be on this piece. Both fantastic guitarists and their efforts are ace. You know that if they are on a TPH album – their standards are high as fuck… Thanks, guys.
Dan Swanö… I can’t say enough great things about this guy. I have known him for so long it’s insane. I have worked with him for just as long as well and we know each other real well when it comes to what I have in mind and whatnot for TPH. The productions he’s given us on “TLP” is out of this world and has quickly turned out to be one of my fave productions ever,. That fucken bass sound (well, I did have to bitch to him for a few days until he got it right, but when he got it right – FUCK ME IS THAT A KILLER SOUND!). Dan’s got a unique approach to dealing with stuff he enjoys when it comes to music. He surprises me all the time when he hands over something for me to approve. I love you Dan and I can never thank you enough for all the insane support I get from you with my equipment and whatnot. Thanx. So fucken much.
The guys in the band… And brother/webmaster/designer Marko Saarelainen… You already know my feelings about your efforts. You truly are the finest people around. Thanx for being a part of this and for making “The Lustrate Process” everything I ever dreamed of creating. This is the epitome of Domination and without you it wouldn’t be half of what it is. I take a bow to you all.
Now we’ll just wait for the release and after that we’ll start writing for the next album that will (again) top everything we have done in the past, haha…
Last off: Thanx so much to all the Haters and the guys at our forums for being fantastic and supportive with buying merch and whatnot. This one is for you.”
Here’s a download link to a high quality version of the song:
But not now, release is still July 6th, you know. But we thought it’d be nice to inform you that we will have a few albums for sale in some months. Save up yer cash and buy it directly from us when the time comes. We have talked to Vic Records about this and we both agreed that alot of people prefer to buy directly from the band so we will have that service for you.
All the information will come when you need it as for how to order this coming masterpiece.
As we have told you we will post video updates from the process of recording the new piece of blasphemy leading up to the release on July 6th, 2009 thru Vic Records. We have no specific dates or anything for when we will launch these updates so just keep on checking in and you won’t miss out on anything. We will also have some thoughts on the album from people involved with it; guest musicians, band members and whatnot. First off, let’s see what Mr. Dan Swanö (who mixed and mastered this masterpiece) has to say about it:
” – Howdy folkz!
So, it´s time once again for me to proclaim that I have mixed the best TPH record so far!! K has an uncanny ability to always top his own work, no matter how hard it may seem! Musically it sounds like classic TPH but the songs are better in every way. I know K worked his ass off, trying to top the previous record, and it must have been a nightmare, but to my ears the songs flow better and it was never boring to mix the record, because the music entertain you and challenge all your senses (yes, you can even taste blood in your mouth while listening to it!!!) Sonically I have tried to give each instrument their own little space within the mix and separate the bass from the guitars. The bass sounds like a blowtorch in your face and the rhythm-guitars rape your eardrums… but with finesse 😉
Enjoy the sonic journey to hell and back!! “
/ Dan Swanö
After those words let us see what TPH guitarist Anders has to say:
” – Following the release of “In Hora Mortis Nostrae” in September 2007, K and I just happened to jam a bit, drunk, one night at his place. I don’t know if either one of us thought that it would be anything more to it, but right off the bat it became very clear that we had a blast. None of us really had jobs or any serious occupation whatsoever at the time, so we took every opportunity to party together and write music. Before we knew it, four months had passed, which meant the arrival of January 2008, and the completion of the writing process for the new TPH album. I think no one was more surprised than me that I had been a part of the writing process of a new album, for a band that I had a deep liking of, not even being a member of the band. In May 2008 K asked me to become an official part of The Project Hate MCMXCIX, as guitarist/(de)composer/great guy Petter “Mazza” Freed had lost the motivation/fire to continue with the band. I instantly accepted, since I really love the music, and there was no way in hell I would turn down an offer like this, considering I’d had a genuinely amazing time working together with one of my best friends. It’s now March 2009, and the album is finally complete. The process has been long and has contained an insane amount of work. I would like to give a big shout-out/horns up/thank you to all the fantastic people that make up the force that is TPH, that I’m deeply honored to be a part of. K, Jörgen, Jonna, Michael and Thomas – five talented bastards. All the intense work has left us with a 60+ minute monster for the listener to devour. The most diverse, brutal, and beautiful music that I probably ever will participate in making.”
